Authorized by Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) and jointly cooperated by Thailand Huachiew Chalermprakiet University and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at Huachiew Chalermprakiet University was established in November 2015, and unveiling ceremony was held on 20 October 2016 in Sumut Prakan, Thailand.

As the first featured Confucius Institute for TCM in Thailand, following “The Belt and Road” strategy and  on the basis of traditional Confucius Institute,  it will be our principle and main direction to promote TCM culture, spread healthy lifestyle and deepen the popularization of TCM knowledge in Thailand.

How to manage well the featured Confucius Institute for TCM? Two lines and four fulcrums. Chinese language and TCM are the two lines we are walking along. Chinese language and Chinese traditional culture, TCM and TCM culture are the four fulcrums we are exploring. We are trying to illustrate the connotation and development direction of TCM featured Confucius Institute.
